2022 Year End Giving Deadlines
The Long Beach Community Foundation is here to support your charitable activities all year round, but we know December can be a busy time! Please keep in mind the following time-sensitive deadlines so your charitable goals are met in 2022.
Grant Recommendations Due by Monday, 12/12/2022
All grant recommendations must be requested in the online Donor Portal by December 12, 2022, for grants to be processed with an expected delivery to the recipient by December 31, 2022. Grant checks are mailed via USPS which may be experiencing delays during this time. Please let us know if a grant must be received by your chosen nonprofit by a certain date.
Investment Allocation Changes Due by Monday, 12/12/2022
All fund investment allocation changes for the month of December must be made prior to the December 12, 2022 portfolio rebalancing cut-off.
Stock Transfers Due by Friday, 12/16/2022
Due to the large volume of stock donations received in December, we cannot guarantee stock donations sent to LBCF after December 16, 2022, will be processed for the 2022 tax year, so please submit your stock donation transaction as early as possible. Please include all the mandatory information below to make the transfer, as well as email the same information to info@longbeachcf.org.

Hand-Delivered Contributions Due by 3 pm Friday, 12/30/2022
Due to the holidays, our office will close at 3 pm on Friday, December 30, 2022. Please make certain that your hand-delivered donation arrives at the LBCF office no later than 3 pm on Friday, December 30, 2022, to be recognized as a 2022 contribution. Our office is located in the Union Bank Building at 400 Oceangate, Suite 800, Long Beach, CA 90802.
Mailed Contributions postmarked by 12/31/2022
All fund contributions received after December 31, 2022, must have a legible postmark dated prior to January 1, 2023, in order to be recognized as a 2022 contribution.
