We are currently hiring a Support Services Associate with experience in social media and design.  This position offers some scheduling flexibility.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support executive team with scheduling and appointment logistics
  • Meeting attendance, documentation and minutes
  • Provide support to program staff on special projects, initiatives, events
  • Plan and execute social media postings
  • Advertising and collateral design
  • Assist with building and maintaining donor database and LBCF website
  • Execution of general office tasks (filing, copying, scanning documents, etc.) as needed


  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Interest in nonprofit management and community development
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Social media savvy (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram)
  • Ability to manage details and keep thorough records
  • Graphic design familiarity highly desirable (Photoshop, Illustrator, MS Publisher and other appropriate design software)
  • Familiarity with web maintenance highly desirable (WordPress)
  • Organized, with an ability to prioritize time-sensitive assignments
  • Stellar follow-through
  • Strong communication skills written, orally and verbally
  • Detail oriented, team player, desire to learn
  • Previous similar work experience in a support role is desirable
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality and pass a background check

Start Date:

Position open until filled


 20 hours/week (with some flexibility in hours worked available), number of hours may vary slightly depending on work load

Compensation Range:

$20,000 – 30,000 annually commensurate with experience
