AWARDING GRANTS
LBCF’s Board of Directors will review applications for the Fennie Community Fund annually. Priority may be given to funding projects and programs that align with LBCF’s strategic grant focus as defined by the LBCF Board; the 2020 LBCF Community Impact Grant focus is on the educational needs of homeless youth or youth at risk of becoming homeless in Long Beach.
Grants will be awarded based on the program qualifications outlined in the submission and selected by the Board-appointed Grants Selection Committee. The Committee will review the submitted applications, select successful candidates, and make recommendations for funding appropriate projects. The expected announcement of awards will be made in August 2020.
AMOUNT
Grants will be awarded between $5,000 and $10,000.
