How-many-individuals: Estimated between 300-500 women in need

What-is-project: Our speaking engagements to Empower Women and Unleash their Purpose while promoting positivity, spreading the word of financial independence, social empowerment, and self-confidence. Research shows that domestic violence is a primary driver into homelessness for women and that gender-based violence is the most significant difference between men and women experiencing homelessness. Domestic violence and homeless/housing services no longer run on parallel paths. While the identification of the connection between these two social problems has engendered change, more work is needed to formulate strategies that are client-centered and survivor-driven change, more work is needed to formulate strategies that are client-centered and survivor-driven.

How-will-you-succeed: We began this speaking engagement once a month starting in January of 2019 our first attendance was 8 women by April our attendance was at 20 women each month and growing.
As of April a total of 55 women attended so far 33 women received amazing results:
10 Obtained full time employment
5 Permanently left a domestic violence situation and received assistance with public housing.
3 Requested assistance with job training
15 Started to extreme coupon and clearance hunt saving over $300 dollar their first month of extreme couponing giving them the ability to open a checking account and meet with a no cost financial advisor.
We plan on adding this program to our mission our goal is to reach more women and provide more assistance in more cities throughout Los Angeles County.
