Healthy Kids Coalition Grant Application
The Healthy Kids Coalition Fund was created in 2005 through the dissolution of a Coalition between nine members including the City of Long Beach, California State University at Long Beach, Junior League of Long Beach, Long Beach Community Medical Center, Long Beach Unified School District, Memorial Miller Children’s Hospital, St. Mary Medical Center, The Children’s Clinic, and Westside Neighborhood Clinic.
When it was originally founded, the Coalition provided a support network for students of the Long Beach Unified School District who would not otherwise have access to basic healthcare services. When the Coalition was disbanded, an endowed fund was created at the Long Beach Community Foundation.
