2021 Year End Giving Dates
Don’t miss your opportunity to give in 2021!
Last year Americans gave $471 billion to charities. The Long Beach Community Foundation is here to support all your charitable activities. Please keep in mind the following time-sensitive deadlines to make the most of your year-end giving:
- Grant Recommendations (12/13/2021)
All grant recommendations from funds must be received by December 13, 2021, for grants to be processed with an expected delivery to the recipient by December 31, 2021. - Investment Allocation Changes (12/13/2021)
All fund investment allocation changes for the month of December must be made prior to the December 13, 2021, portfolio rebalancing cut-off. - Hand-Delivered Contributions (12/30/2021)
Hand-delivered fund contributions must be delivered to LBCF no later than 5 pm on Thursday, December 30, 2021 to be recognized as a year-end contribution. LBCF offices will be closed on December 31, if you have an emergency year-end situation on December 31, please phone Marcelle Epley at (562) 213-5878. - Mailed Contributions (12/31/2021)
All fund contributions must be dated and postmarked on or before December 31, 2021, to be recognized as a current year contribution. - Stock Transfers
We strongly recommend that all stock, corporate bonds, or other marketable securities transfers be made as early as possible to avoid any year-end delays. Please include all the mandatory information below to make the transfer, as well as email the same information to info@longbeachcf.org.
