Long Beach Century Club Fund

The Long Beach Century Club was formed in 1957 by 100 Long Beach sports enthusiasts who each contributed $100 per year. The club’s mission is to support the youth and coaches who participate in amateur sports, primarily in the local middle and high schools in the Long Beach Unified School District plus Long Beach City College and CSU Long Beach, as well as local athletes seeking to represent the U.S.A. in major competitions. Over the years, the Century Club has supported thousands of athletes in Long Beach. It has sent athletes to all corners of the globe for competitions, many of whom have returned home with World and Olympic Championships.
