Long Beach Organic Garden, Zaferia Junction had a wonderful volunteer event on 2/26/2022. This event received grant funding from the National Philanthropy Day Fund managed by the Long Beach Community Foundation.
LBCF Board members contribute to this fund which supports an annual beautification project. Over 30 volunteers planted a new multi-sensory accessible garden, harvested several garden beds, weeded and mulched the orchard, and ate pizza! Thank you to everyone who participated.
